Technical Evaluation

QA Task

Create Cypress test code to validate the full token lifecycle in qbitjwt.com, including encode, decode, and signature verification proof.

Execution Steps

  1. Create Cypress automation that opens the tool at https://qbitjwt.com/.
  2. Generate token payload input, then encode a token using the encode flow in the tool (screenshots required).
  3. Capture the generated token and add that token into the decoder on https://qbitjwt.com/.
  4. Decode the token and verify the signature status in the debugger output (screenshots required).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery for quality initiatives from design to production rollout.
  • Collaborate with security, platform, and product teams to ship reliable features with measurable impact.
  • Design maintainable services and interfaces with strong observability, testing, and documentation.
  • Work with technologies including Playwright, Cypress, CI/CD and adjacent tools across our stack.
  • Participate in architecture and incident reviews to continuously improve reliability and security.

Requirements

  • 2+ yrs of relevant engineering experience in quality or adjacent domains.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Playwright and Cypress in production environments.
  • Strong communication, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate in a remote-first team.
  • Experience with secure software development practices and production operations.
